Radio Scouting .. a History in Nepal Scouts,After 56 Years of scouting.
Nepal Scouts one of the major aim to produce the good people for the making society good has been in active in different fields of activities. Recently Nepal scouts, Kathmandu District scout office has started the regular FM program of half an hour regarding the scouting activities, news and views making a history in 56 years of scouting in nepal. This program was started on very occasion of the nepal’s New year 2064 named ” SCOUT DARSAN”, which means the reality of scouting education. The program will be now on air every fornightly on Friday 8:30 PM. The main objective of the program was the publishment of the objectives and fundamentals of the scouting to the public of the nepal and provide the priority of the practical importance of scouting education to the scouts and the public throuh the way of the media. The frist test program was started sharp at 8:30 Pm and lasted for the 56 minutes.on this first programe, world scouting background, starting the scouts in Nepal was introduced and the feelings of leaders on this historic occasions were expressed Mr. Shiva Lamichhane, chairman of Kathmandu district welfare fund and member of district council has hosted the program and cordinated by Mr. Mani Malla who is the district coordinating commisioner. Mr.Shree Ram lamichanne, Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scouts, chief guest on the live program had expressed his good wish for the continuation of this program and felt very proud as because the kathmandu district scouts is able to add new event on the history of nepal. he told that this program will help to promote the scouting education in the country and meet the goals and objective Besides Mr Ravi lochan Lamichhane,district commissioner, Ms. Anita Manandhar, Co-District Commisioner was also present as the guests in the program.
ya this is positive change in scouting. hope this will provide a good support in scouting. i hope to publish the detials in near future..
